Visit Visa
Saudi Arabia's visit visa, often called the tourist eVisa, enables tourism, leisure, and non-religious visits like sightseeing in Riyadh or beaches. It offers single or multiple entries, valid up to 1 year (90 days per visit) or longer for some types.
Eligibility
Nationals from 66 countries qualify for online eVisa or visa-on-arrival; GCC residents need valid residency over 3 months. Pakistanis are ineligible for direct eVisa and must apply via Saudi embassies, VFS centers, or agents with sponsor invitation. Holders of US/UK/Schengen visas may get visa-on-arrival.
Application Process
Apply online at visa.visitsaudi.com for eligible nationalities: submit passport details, photo, and pay fees digitally. Pakistanis use VFS Tasheel centers—fill form, upload docs, book biometrics appointment, pay fees (cash/card), and collect visa. Processing takes 3-7 days; eVisa sent via email where applicable.
Requirements for Pakistanis
Need passport (6+ months validity), 2 passport photos, application form, sponsor invitation/passport copy/Iqama, NADRA CNIC/B-form (minors), marriage certificate if family, and health insurance. Airline reservation and proof of funds may apply. Fees vary by type (e.g., SR 368 for 1-year multiple).
Key Differences from Umrah Visa
Tourist visa suits general travel year-round (no Hajj/Umrah restriction), while Umrah is pilgrimage-specific via Nusuk/agents. Tourist allows broader activities but bars Hajj attendance.
